The driver shares the departure and arrival points, and whether they are willing to deviate from their route.
In Galicia, it is especially useful for trips on the AP-9, one of the most expensive highways in Spain, and for poorly connected towns (in this case, you might encounter limited options).
Would I recommend it? Yes. I have used it in both roles: as a driver and a passenger, and I never had problems.
HOW BLABLACAR WORKS
To use it, you need to create a profile in the app, and in it, you accumulate points, which are only given by users who traveled with you. In both cases, you have to select the profile of those who will take us, and accompany.
By being a little careful when making that selection, you have a high probability that everything will go well. The app even has the ability to alert if something has gone wrong, and to rate the driving, that’s why it’s important to read them to select with whom and how we will travel. Some accept smokers, pets, etc.
If you have any problem, for example if you decide to cancel, or if the driver cancels, etc., you always resolve it through the app. They refund your money, although you will always have to look for another option on your own.
